Machinima. Know what it is?
If you’re anything like me, I bet you’ve seen plenty of examples of machinima but you just didn’t know that it was called anything other than a “video game movie”.
Machinima is a portmanteau [blending of two words] of machine cinema and basically means using a video game to make a movie. So, if you want to sound smart and stuff when you’re talking about videos like Strangerhood or a Sims 2 YouTube video then call it a Sims machinima instead of a Sims movie.
