Since I don’t make my own videos, I didn’t really realize just how in depth you have to get to make a good video.I know there are some of you out there who have been itching to make your very own movies but you just didn’t know where to start. Machinima. Know what it is?
If you’re anything like me, I bet you’ve seen plenty of examples of machinima but you just didn’t know that it was called anything other than a “video game movie”.
Machinima is a portmanteau [blending of two words] of machine cinema and basically means using a video game to make a movie. So, if you want to sound smart and stuff when you’re talking about videos like Strangerhood or a Sims 2 YouTube video then call it a Sims machinima instead of a Sims movie.
