I know that there are some of you out there who still don’t have the Nightlife expansion.  I’m not quite sure since I would put it in my “must have” list of expansion packs.  But the point of this post isn’t to lecture you on why you should have Nightlife.

The point of this post is to let you know that there is a way to drive cars WITHOUT Nightlife!

Surprised?  So was I.

The trick is to download the add-on that Numenor created.

The way it works is that you have to have an expansion or stuff pack other than University Life.  Then you download the add-on and follow the instructions found here.

It’s that simple.  Now, get to drivin’!

This fun career is made by the same person who created the “Warrior career” that I featured on Friday.

Like the Warrior career, the Knight in Shining Armor career is actually derived from a D and D class - the Paladin.

If you only have the base game then don’t download this career since it will crash your game; make sure that you have Nightlife installed.  Honestly, you should have Nightlife installed anyway since it gives you the use of vehicles.

There are 10 different levels and the career reqiures Body, Mechanical, and Charisma.

I decided to go ahead and pre-order Apartment Life so that I don’t miss out on the sweet GlowStation 90XD.  While I was in the process of ordering, I noticed something that I hadn’t noticed before: Sims 2:Apartment Life Limited Collection.  It’s $10 more than the “regular” Apartment Life and I couldn’t quite figure out why.

After a tiny bit of digging [and by digging I mean I scrolled down to the bottom of the page], I learned that Sims 2:Apartment Life Limited Collection is a combination of Sims 2:Double Deluxe [which is really a combination of The Sims 2, The Sims 2: Nightlife Expansion Pack and The Sims 2: Celebration Stuff] and Apartment Life.

SO, if you’ve been waiting to jump into the Sims 2 phenomenon this Sims 2:Apartment Life Limited Collection might be the combo pack for you since it contains a butt load of content for $40.00

I’ve gotten a BUNCH of emails for people complaining about the cost of Sims 2 and asking me to somehow wave my magic computer wand and make is so they can download Sims 2…for free.

First off, I paid for all of my various versions of Sims 2. I know it sounds bitchy, but why in the world would I give it to you for free?

Also, it would be illegal for me to redistribute my copy of Sims 2 to you. I’m sure you’re a really cool person and you help old people across the street and stuff but I’m not risking a fine or jail time for anyone.

So, while I understand that for some of you guys 18.98 might seem like a lot of money, think of how quickly you could save up the cash.
