I know that there are some of you out there who still don’t have the Nightlife expansion.  I’m not quite sure since I would put it in my “must have” list of expansion packs.  But the point of this post isn’t to lecture you on why you should have Nightlife.
The point of this post is to let you know that there is a way to drive cars WITHOUT Nightlife!

1.The SIMS 2 or The Sims 2 Holiday Edition: These are for the person in your family that doesn’t have the Sims 2.  You can start off with either one (not both) but if it’s a Christmas or other holiday present why not go for the Holiday Edition with has a pretty bow on it and also comes with fun holiday items!  Remember though that if you already have the Sims 2, don’t buy The Sims 2 Holiday Edition. Check out how the Sims 2 is dominating the list of Top PC games for 2005.  The Maxis game takes up the 2nd 3rd 7th and 9th spots.  I know why, it’s because the Sims ROCK!  Chart via gamespot.

Hey guys, this is sort of self explanatory, but if you want to get rid of the blur when Sims go to the rest room or at other times download this patch.  You then put the unzipped file into your C:\My documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Config folder.  I haven’t actually tried this for the Sims 2 because I’m personally not interested in seeing naked Sim characters, but maybe for our next photo shoot with the America’s Next Top Sim.  hehe

So today I made some more famous Sims for my TomKat blog.  I made a Katie Holmes sim and downloaded a Tom Cruise.  I had them Woohoo and they had their little baby boy!  He’s kind of funny looking now, but maybe his face will fill out when he grows up.  I guess that’s a risk you take with custom sims.  Oh yeah and there’s something funky with the Tom Cruise sim…when he takes a shower his body complete disappears!  Anyway, Tom was so happy about the baby he started jumping on their couch…hehe.  You can download Sim Katie and …read more

A while ago I posted about a site that was doing an America’s Next Top Model Sims version and yesterday I got word that she had to quit her pursuit for the most beautiful Sim because her computer crashed.
