Introduction

Introduction

I just realized that I haven’t done a formal introduction and that makes me look like a bit of a looser.
Hi. My name is Amy and that picture above this rambling mess is my family. Well, kind of. The animals and husband are right but my daughter is actually only 15 months old. However, I didn’t feel like dealing with a toddler Sim when I created this lovely family.
I’ve been playing The Sims since the original Sims and have all of the expansions…though I’m really not quite sure what happened to all of them.

The Sims 2 Seasons Introduces Leftovers!

For busy single Sim parents the invention of leftovers that came with The Sims 2 Seasons is a lifesaver!  Now you can spend your days off cooking up a few tasty meals so during the week your kids won’t have to bug you to cook for them.  We all know things taste better the next day anyway.  So serve your meals and then click he option to put it back in the fridge.  Then when you want it again click the fridge and get your leftovers.  Voila, instant meals!

The Sims 2 Seasons Fireflies

Here’s a picture of a jar of fireflies from the Sims 2 seasons expansion pack.  I’m not really sure what the point of catching them is.  It would be neat if they could replace lights in your house but I don’t think that’s the case.  What do you do with your fireflies?

The Sims 2 Seasons Wintertime

Two of the fun things you can now do during the wintertime in The Sims 2 are making snow angels and building snow men.  Here’s a silly video I made of one of my attractive Sims playing in the snow:

New Sims 2 Seasons Feature: Put Stuff on Your Roof

I guess I’m a bit roof obsessed right now but I just found another fun thing to do with your roof in The Sims 2 Seasons.  Now you can put stuff all over your roof.  Check out this picture of when I went a little overboard…Might be a bit of a Sims fire hazard to put candles up there…
