If you have dreams of making a Sims 2 post apocalyptic movie then you  can’t have the TV playing sports or a cooking show like nothing happened.

Now, instead of what would normally be on television, you’ll get a series of cool “static” screens. There’s even one that tells your Sims to head to the fallout shelter.

While I’m not a machinima maker, I know that this download could come in real handy for some of you. Make sure that you follow the installation instructions since this doesn’t go in the downloads file.

This is part one and then part two of a story that Swoozie06 created about Sims Online.

It cracks me up a guy would do this and then the story that develops is Simtastic.

I’m a big fan of House. I’ve watched just about every episode since the series premier back in 2004.

Gregory House is a maddening but awesome character and the addition of “Thirteen” only made the series even more interesting. As you might have guessed, I’ve found House’s Thirteen in Sim form and she’s a pretty good likeness.

There is tons of custom content included with this download including the skin tone, teeth and eyes.

Solid Sim that would make a great addition to any game.

While I don’t see this being a very functional getup, it is really cute and I know that your neighborhood Sims appreciate the outfit.

This saucy teen outfit would be a great addition to any warddrobe and also a good outfit for stories.

If you have any interest in creating a Sims machinima, then you need to know about Decorgal.

Not only is she an AMAZING filmmaker, she has also created lots of hacks and custom content that any Simmer would be proud to have in their game and movies.

Sims 2 has an extensive interview with Decorgal up right now. The interview covers everything from Decorgal’s remedy for creator’s block to “words of wisdom” for new creators.

A must read for filmmakers out there.

What cheats do you use the most?
I use game modifications/tools that I’ve created the most to queue in-game animations. As for in-game cheats, the basic ones like setting time, the boolprop testing cheat, and move objects are the ones I use the most. I remember when I first started making movies, none of the cheats and modifications were available at the time (aside from the basic in-game ones although we didn’t get the boolprop testing cheat until later). Making movies was so incredibly frustrating- I had to actually play the game to manipulate relationships to get certain reactions, keep their needs at certain levels, etc. Movie makers want as much control as possible so that we don’t have to actually ‘play’ the game in order to complete a scene. Making movies today is so much easier because of the custom content we have today.

I want you to know that I looked ALL OVER You Tube for an Easter Sims 2 video.

All over.

I found a couple of freaky things that I only would have posted on here so that I could make fun of them. BUT, I’m nice. While I might have privately snickered at them, I’m not going to post them here. I’ll just talk about them in broad generalizations and then you can go to You Tube yourself and look up “Sims 2 Easter”.

Anyway, here’s an Easter video of sorts. At least it’s a video of a dude with a rabbit head. That’s close, right?

My husband is a HUGE fan of I Can Has Cheezburger [http://icanhascheezburger.com]. I’m not exactly sure why since he’s not such a big fan of cats but he’ll waste plenty of time looking at cute kitties with funny captions. *sigh*

If you go to the Sims 2 website [http://thesims2.ea.com/] you’ll find a couple of funny SIMS 2 examples which made me laugh. I’ve posted one of my favorites below but I also chuckled at the cow tipping picture.

If you’re at home gardening, you’re most likely gaining knowledge about gardening. Right? So, why is it that when you use the hydroponics garden [slacker career reward] you gain Creativity?!

Richi3frog has come up with a good solution and it’s one that makes a bit more sense than gaining Creativity when you garden. This fix allows you to earn “Gardening Badge”. And, you’ll earn this even if all you’re doing is weeding the front lawn.
