Some of the best Sims to dress are the kids since they look so darn cute in their Christmas gear.

Included in this clothing download for Sims 2 are velvet dresses with white tights and black Mary Janes for girl toddlers and children and argyle sweater vests with slacks and black shoes for boy toddlers and children. You can find the downloads in Formal and in Everyday so if you want your kid Sims to be Christmas cheery at all times then you can have it.

You get four new meshes with this download but you don’t have to worry about searching around for them since they are included in this download. No expansion packs are required so even base game players can get their Sims in the holiday spirit.

Since I normally feature Sims 3 stuff, please note that this download set is for Sims 2 so don’t go downloading if for Sims 3 and expecting it to work.

I’m a bit ashamed to admit that I had missed Fanseelamb’s extremely cool addition to the Tru Blood downloads and so, of course, I’m featuring it.

How could I not feature this download after I read: “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drink Friends”.

I laughed for like five minutes after I read that.

I mean, it is Thanksgiving. Why shouldn’t your vampire Sims have an interesting libation to enjoy?

Just like in the books and the show, Tru Blood satisfies all of your Vampires’ needs without the need for a dinner guest – if you know what I mean.

Tru Blood can be found in the vamp’s fridge or in vending machines. If you want everything to be all happy and work right, your best bet is to have up to Apartment Life installed.

The Overview doesn’t say how much these cost but I’m going to assume not that much. I would have installed these bad boys but I don’t run Sims 2 any longer so y’all will have to tell me how much these rock.

Maybe it’s because we’re not “real” gamers or because we spend our time micromanaging computer generated people, but I for one know that I get my fair share of flack from people when they hear that I write for a Sims blog. My favorite is, “Oh. So you don’t write for a real gaming site?”

Nice.

My husband has this habit of surfing College Humor while he drinks his coffee in the morning. He’s supposed to be working but I won’t tell if you won’t.

Anyway, he sent me a link to a Sims related comic strip of sorts on College Humor and I had to share it with y’all.

I read through it and laughed my butt off. Sometimes it’s good to laugh at yourself – especially when it’s true.

Anyway, I showcase custom content that I think might be of interest to you stuff that I would normally download myself. In-fact, if I feature it here then I’ve probably installed it on my own game. That’s not always the case, but I try not to recommend something that I haven’t seen work in-game.

Example – if you just read the description of the Install Helper Monkey program thing, it sounds almost too good to be true:

Once set up, you can just double-click the files to put them where they need to go. No need to mess with Resource.cfg yourself or create any folders – just run the program, and from then on, you can just double-click the files.

If I hadn’t tried the program out myself then I probably wouldn’t have suggested it to you because it just sounds too easy. But, it IS that easy and everyone should download it. :0

Anyway, I’m just curious what you guys come here for. What are you specifically looking for? I’ll try to beef up on content in that area.

I’m not saying that I’m going to make the entire site exclusively about whatever the most popular poll result is but I will definitely take it under consideration.

Her work is so dead on so many times that I know that I’m going to probably like just about anything that she created. Her characters are instantly recognizable and life like and they should be a welcomed addition to any Sims game.

Below is Jacob, played by Taylor Lautner. Vera’s rendition of him is spot-on and the only thing that I would change would to be making Jacob’s body just a little “thicker”. Other than that, I think that Vera’s version of Jacob is perfect.

His forehead is just a tad bit too big for my taste but I know for a fact that I couldn’t do any better and this Picard is a pretty good likeness.

Download Jean-Luc Picard and add him to your Sims 2 game. He’s an adult and not elder so you have plenty of time to play him.

Now, instead of what would normally be on television, you’ll get a series of cool “static” screens. There’s even one that tells your Sims to head to the fallout shelter.

While I’m not a machinima maker, I know that this download could come in real handy for some of you. Make sure that you follow the installation instructions since this doesn’t go in the downloads file.
