Bernie Kosar was one of the great all time NFL quarterbacks. Now he is broke.

Bernie came out of Miami and went to the Cleveland Browns. He threw for 124 touchdowns and was all pro in 1987.

Since then Bernie has had his share of problems. So after 23,000 yards passing, 3 pro teams, Miami, Cleveland, and Dallas, a failed marriage, and a lost chance at the Miami college coaching job, Bernie finds himself deep in debt.

Kosar’s Chapter 11 filing Friday lists assets between $1 million and $10 million and liabilities of between $10 million and $50 million.

Kosar owes almost $1.5 million in “unsecured debt” to the Cleveland Browns, who he played for from 1985 to 1993. Kosar also owes his ex-wife Babette $3 million and $725,000 (from a personal loan) to the owner of the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League. He owes a bank more than $9 million for bad real estate deals.

Man, it can be tough to get by on those millions.

Braylon uses his Zen powers

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Cleveland is hoping that young Braylon Edwards can mature and have a fantastic season this coming year. Braylon only scored 3 touchdowns last year in a tumultuous year for the Browns, after scoring 16 touchdowns the year before.

So what can Braylon do? There will be problems to be sure. Not only are the Browns looking at a quarterback controversy, but new coach Eric Mangini has been flexing his muscles and driving several people crazy.

The secret will be for Braylon Edwards to call on his Zen powers to achieve greatness as only he can do. Watch this YouTube of Braylon catching footballs using the power of Zen.
