Kevin Harvick Wins Kroger 250

Kevin Harvick once against returned to the winners circle as he drove the his No. 2 Chevrolet past Kyle Busch and into the front with 10 laps to the finish Monday and then held off his competitors to win the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway, his fourth victory lap in the Truck Series in his 97th career start. Harvick was able to stay on Busch’s bumper, until he was able to get under him, and then ran the last 186 laps to victory.

The nightmares of Brawn’s competitors at Melbourne Park became reality in the Australian Grand Prix this weekend, as Brawn’s drivers and cars were just as fast as feared by their competitors, finishing one-two at the finish line in both the qualifying and the race.
The rules changes did bring about a lot closer racing and allowed the drivers to pass one another on the track as they were designed to do, which made for an exciting and adrenalin filled experience as the cars and drivers jockeyed for position with each other. The winds of change will be blowing over the 2009 Formula One season when the cars pull up to the start line of the first race the Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne. This year the FIA has made alterations to the Sporting Regulations in order to increase the reliability of the cars and decrease the inherent costs involved in Formula One racing for the teams and sponsors.
