One source says that the book, aptly titled A-Rod, “offers an unflattering portrait of the MVP slugger as a needy personality who wanted his ego stroked constantly.”

I doubt anyone cares about his big ego. Heck, we could figure that out by ourselves. The real issue is the use of steroids. I have to wonder if this is the only real revelation the book has. I’d like to think it has a lot more in it, but either way, I suppose we’ll find out in a couple of weeks.

While Rodriguez has long been known to frequent strip clubs, a source in a new report insists that Rodriguez has a thing for she-male, muscular type of stripper. Obviously there is nothing wrong with that, however it is definitely an interesting wrinkle to ARoid’s current saga.

Over the last year, Rodriguez has split up with his wife and has even been linked to Madonna. In fact, an Alex Rodriguez and Madonna sex tape has been rumored to exist.

A book detailing Rodriguez’s personal life has been pushed forward and is expected to hit shelves a month ahead of schedule. Entitled “A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez” reportedly has many juicy items. What could be in the book? Well a blog post on OutSports.com talks about the possibility of Rodriguez being gay.

I guess we’ll have to wait for the April 14th release of the book to get all the details. Until then, the crumbling life of Alex Rodriguez will likely stay in the news.
