Is Brett Favre being selfish?
It’s hard not to talk about this situation because it’s so prevalent in the sports media outlets. It’s everywhere. It’s even on this blog.
So for this week’s thought provoking question, I thought I’d go right to the heart of the matter. Most people are talking what the Packers administration should or shouldn’t do, and what they have or have not done. But what about Favre? He’s not completely innocent in this situation either.

I might have to eat some crow after all.
I said that we should all “let it go.” But how can we let it go when Brett Favre won’t. He’s got the itch to play, which I can understand. He said that he’s always tired in March, he’s always ready to take a break from football. But maybe a permanent break was too much. Maybe he just needed a few months out of the spotlight to regroup. Maybe he just needed to some time to realize why he played football in the first place … because it’s fun for him.
