Sonny is a turn-based Action/RPG Flash game where you’re a Zombie of sorts that has to off everyone else.  The game allows you to pick a class [Destroyer, Guardian, Assassin or Gunslinger] and then customize your character by purchasing or finding weapons and armor and by leveling up so that you can acquire points to add to your abilities and attributes.

When you first start out, you fight alongside a blind dude who isn’t a whole heck of a lot of help.  As the story progresses [and there is a pretty good story] you end up going it alone and getting your butt kicked pretty thoroughly.

I spent so much time in the Training Fights area that I should have bought a plot of land and called the damn place “home”.  One good thing about the training area is that you do level up and I think that this is the first game that I’ve played where I’ve been able to level while training.

The worst dudes I encountered were the Rock Golems.  Even with the “special armour”, these guys were still bitches to beat.  Getting dealt an 890 point hit which immediately KILLS you is not my idea of fun.

I started playing the game around 8am and finally beat the game around 6pm.  I didn’t play it nonstop since you can save at any time and come back for more when you’ve managed to get your temper under control.  Or am I the only one who has to do that?

Even though turn-based games aren’t my favorite, this was a solid game that I really enjoyed…except for the dying part.  Dying always sucks.
