The Wii Bowl, Bowling Ball For Wii

When it comes to Wii Sports Bowling, I can sit on my couch, whip out my Wii remote and scores a perfect 300 occasionally. Maybe CTA Digital is looking into my kind of Wii bowling nerds who find Wii bowling boring to come up with the Wii Bowl.

The Wii Bowl lets you split (pun intended) the blue bowl into half and insert the Wii remote right into its center. Three holes are present to give you the authentic feeling of stucking your fingers into a real bowling ball. The roundy Wii accessory is made for these Wii bowling games: Wii …read more

Now This Is A “Mighty Mouse”

[via MacBlogz]
If this thing does come true it will be one of the best mice I’ve seen ever. A Multi-touch Mighty Mouse would be killer. It would truly redeem the name of the Mighty Mouse, which till now is a severely over priced but slightly lacking pointing device.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some good things about it but I personally think it’s just not worth the price tag Apple placed on it. A Multi-touch Mighty Mouse made our of aluminum however is a different story.
Imagine a mouse that reacts to multi-touch gestures. No moving parts, made out of …read more

Luxury Case: Linea Slimcase for MacBook Pro

[via Gentleman's Gadgets]
To some people style and luxury is everything. Orbino has made a laptop case for the MacBook Pro that does exactly that. The Linea Slim laptop case is a hand crafted notebook case that oozes luxury. The finely crafted leather case encases your MacBook Pro yet allows for use while in the case. There are holes for the different ports, etc.
This baby costs half as much as the notebook it encloses. The $849 dollar pricetag is a hefty sum to most people but it’s chump change to those who the market it was intended for.

What Do You Do When Your Mac Breaks Down and Warranty Has Lapsed

Several people I know contacted me recently. They were having problems with their Macs and asked for advice. One had a broken LCD and another was having trouble with her trackpad and keyboard. It would later be diagnosed as a logic board problem. These two people have one thing in common, their Macs could not be covered by warranty. The LCD problem was not a factory defect. The owner accidentally sat on his MacBook. The one with the logic board problem was out of the 1 year standard warranty period.
When this happens it really sucks. Most components of your …read more

Ultracompact Power

I was going through the iPhone 3G web pages and I saw the new ultracompact USB power adapter included. It’s sleek and small. Looks really good. It’s a polished version of Eneplug. They’re both similar devices however true to Apple form, they made theirs look just a way bit cooler.
Check out the side by side pictures. Apple Ultracompact USB Adapter on the left, Eneplug on the right.

Radiator: Take Your MacBook Outdoors

Together with the Air Manila sleeve, I was also loaned a Radiator case for the MacBook by a friend of mine who just bought these two. I borrowed both cases from him to do a mini-review. The review of the Air Manila can be found here.
When I found out that I was going to have a chance to look at both products I must admit I was more excited to see the Radiator than the Air Manila. Did it live up to my expectations? Yes and no.
Yes because it looks as nice in person as it is in pictures. …read more
