Patriots Release Backup QB Kevin O’Connell

The New England Patriots made a surprising move on Sunday when they released backup quarterback Kevin O’Connell. Many experts thought that O’Connell would enter the season as Tom Brady’s backup.
With O’Connell out of the picture, it appears as if Andrew Walter is currently the team’s backup QB. However, there’s a chance that the Patriots could trade for (or sign) a new backup quarterback. One name getting mentioned is AJ Feeley of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Heather Mitts Engaged to A.J. Feeley

The soccer and football worlds finally unite! At least, in the romance department they do.
Soccer gal Heather Mitts has announced her engagement to Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback A.J. Feeley. In a blog post entitled How Can I Top 2008?, Mitts said that “two of the things that I love most in life were very good to me this year.” She went on to say very casually that she got a gold medal and was engaged.
