JaMarcus Russell v Jeff Garcia – Raiders QB

A few weeks ago, it appeared that JaMarcus Russell had the starting quarterback job for the Oakland Raiders locked up. However, after recent comments by Jeff Garcia, that doesn’t sound as certain.
On a radio show, Garcia said that Russell should be the starting quarterback in Oakland — but only if Russell legitimately wins the gig. Otherwise, if Garcia wins the job, the 39-year-old QB isn’t ready to simply accept a backup job.

Al Davis Has Lost His Mind

I think the Oakland Raiders have “jumped the shark.”
Al Davis has either lost his mind or he’s living in an alternate reality. Does he really thing that letting go of DeAngelo Hall will improve his team???
The Raiders signed Hall to a 70 million dollar contract, plus gave up a second-round draft pick in 2008 and a fifth-round draft pick in 2009 to Atlanta in order to seal the deal.
That’s a lot to pay for only eight games.
