What am I talking about? Well — I told you that I was thinking of watching a basketball game, right? Thanks to Willie Miller of the Alaska Aces, I got courtside tickets. Ha! So, yea. It was Alaska versus Air 21. Too bad the former lost.

Boy, was I surprised with how Cubao and the Araneta Coliseum has changed. I’m trying to recall the time when I last went there. Uh, a good few years at least. Heh.

What am I talking about? Well — I told you that I was thinking of watching a basketball game, right? Thanks to Willie Miller of the Alaska Aces, I got courtside tickets. Ha! So, yea. It was Alaska versus Air 21. Too bad the former lost.

But it wasn’t just one game I watched, I got to stay for the 2nd game, Ginebra versus Talk N Text. So, it was a good few hours of cheering, clapping, cat-calls and everything that makes Basketball an exciting sport to watch.

I’ve always been a Ginebra fan, ever since I was — like — a little kid. But like I said in my previous entry, I lost touch and just focused mainly on college ball. But getting to see them play again, together with other Ginebra fans, it reminded me of how it was like back then. Ginebra fans are the most loyal fans a team could ever ask for. But they are also the most annoying bunch. I got so embarrassed sitting in the crowd, hearing them say mean things to the referees and players. But as a fan, I’m sure glad they won. ;)

Or is it only normal? Ah, well — Note to self, never let the game get to you. Hehehe.

Over all, it was a fantastic experience. It didn’t make me miss watching college ball since most of the players now are familiar to me like: Mike Cortez, Don Allado, Ren Ren Ritualo, and Mark Cardona. I’ve been watching these guys since their UAAP days. Heh.
