No More Booze at Minnesota?

Earlier this month, Minnesota announced that may ban alcohol at all college sporting events. I can just guess how well that went over for students, but how do you guys feel about it?
Some thoughts I have:
Having alcohol at the games at Penn State isn’t dangerous, so I can’t see how it would be at Minnesota. The people who get so drunk they can’t see are typically students who walk home, and the drivers are responsible most of the time. There will always be incidents, but not enough to ban alcohol.
The possible ban stems from state alcohol disputes with the school. …read more
Drunk the Next Day

Oh, my aching head!
I did something very, very stupid last night. I drank way too much and didn’t realize that I was doing it. Let me explain.
I have Sailor Jerry Rum and was mixing it with sweet tea. I’m from the South and sweet tea down here is an art. Mine is slightly bitter but very sweet and just a tinge darker than the Sailor Jerry Rum. Have Your Drink and Coaster Too

Six Flags Over Texas has won their 15 month fight to sell alcohol at their park.
Beer sales start on Saturday and liquor sales will be allowed at private functions. Anyone caught with alcohol outside of the designated watering holes will be kicked to the curb [and one can assume without their drink].
My suggestion is to choose either alcohol OR the roller coasters-not both.
To the drink:
The Roller Coaster
Ingredients:
2 Parts Amaretto Almond Liqueur
3 Parts Grapefruit Juice
ice
cocktail glass
Directions:
Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Cast “Drunk3″ With Final Fantasy Drinks
Or would that be “Drunkaga?” Sigh, I really do come from the old school.
The Danish IT University of Copenhagen hosted Final Fantasy Night at the establishment’s pub, “The Scrollbar.” Bartenders and barmaids dressed up as Final Fantasy characters and served an assortment of delicious-looking Final Fantasy-themed drinks.
The menu included “Cactaur” (a mix of tequila, bols blue and various tropical juices), “Life Stream” (Bacardi Lemon, peppermint green, apple juice, lime and sprite) and the mouth-watering “Moogle” (Bols Strawberry, Bols Raspberry, peach, milk, whipped cream.)
There’s even the mild “Aerith Virgin,” though if Aerith was a virgin upon her death, I’ll eat my …read more
