Ellen to Make “American Idol” Debut Tonight

In a season filled with controversy, Ellen DeGeneres will be making her debut as the new judge on American Idol. After Paula Abdul quit, it was a scramble to find someone to fill her seat and considering the fact that Ellen is such a huge fan of the show, I thought it was a good choice.

Paula Abdul Quits “American Idol”

Paula Abdul used Twitter to shock fans of the television show, American Idol, when she wrote several messages explaining that she has chosen to abandon her judging duties.
In the first message, she wrote that she has “decided not to return to #IDOL” and then goes on to say that she will “miss nurturing all the new talent” as well as being “part of a show that [she] helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.”
She thanked her fans for their “undying support and enormous love.”

Predicting Online Buzz from Offline Buzz
One of the best ways to get online traffic is to be aware of the offline buzz happening around you. In my opinion, it is like 99% accurate that any offline buzz will also be an online buzz. People will search about it on the net.
Recently I was watching news (I think it was CNN) and they were featuring this giant squid. Now, the term “giant squid” is at number 7 at Yahoo Buzz Index.
