Kumble’s personality has unfolded in an unprecedented manner over the last few months. How he trusts his instincts, sticks to his decisions, and stays cool and gentlemanly in the face of crises, is all very interesting to me.

That Anil Kumble would join the league of Warne and Murali, nobody had the slightest hint of five years back. But this chap has really grown on us all– not only with his performance but also his integrity and character.
Not to overlook Rahul Dravid, who with 165 catches is now the third highest catcher in the Test history.
