1. To heck with urban legends: Contrary to popular belief, the cut-off hoodie is not the only piece of upper body outerwear Bill Belichick wears.
2. If you want substance behind a player’s guarantee that his team will win, don’t expect the Steelers’ Anthony Smith—spotted wearing egg on his trash-talking visage today—to be your guy.

For NFL fans across the US and A (yes, we watched Borat again last night), all eyes or Tivos will be on the Patriots-Steelers game today at 4:15pm.
This eagerly anticipated head-to-head comes on the heels of two nailbiter wins (so close that The Bee made fun of yours truly for leaving the room 7 times in the final 3 minutes). Can the Pats hang onto their squeaky clean, 12-0 record, even though Steelers DB Anthony Smith guarantees otherwise?

Which team is more likely to have a player so cocky that he can “guarantee” a win in the next game: the 12-0 Patriots or the 9-3 Steelers?
Anyone exposed to a Pats press con knows that they’re about as salacious as a bespectacled, turtleneck-wearing schoolmarm who considers the fashion sense on Little House on the Prairie ”too edgy.”
