In his quarterfinal U.S. Open match against Novak Djokovic, Roddick boldly balked about how it seemed as though Djokovic had about “16 injuries,” along with attributing some of his health-related issues to bird flu, anthrax, SARS and a common cold.

Needless to say, Djokovic didn’t take kindly to the taunting. And he shut Roddick up the best way possible — by beating him in five sets to advance into the semifinals.

Is it me or is anyone else wondering where Roddick gets off taunting? In order to taunt, you actually have to be at the top of your game. Because, let’s face it, then you’ve earned the right to taunt.

When is the last time Roddick won a Grand Slam?? 2003? That’s what, five years ago.

Bottom line— Roddick needs to quit buggin’!
