Apple lowers iPod prices, unveils iTunes 9

In the “no” column: the iPad tablet. The Beatles catalog. iPod Touch w/ built-in camera.
In the “yes” column: iTunes 9.0. Full-length album download format. Facebook & Twitter integration in iTunes. Lower iPod prices. Whole new iPod Nano with built-in video camera, FM radio tuner, microphone, speaker, pedometer, available today.
And all this under the long-awaited return of Steve Jobs.

Apple iPod event happening 9/9/09

It’s officially official: as expected, Apple is hosting its annual iPod press conference/keynote/event/thing on September 9th. Mac fiends take note that you’ll want to set your timers for 10:am Pacific on that day, as every tech blogger in the universe will be live blogging from the event, which is set to be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Is this the Apple Tablet? Coming in Sept.?

Oh, how I want this to be real. Okay, it’s not the rumored iTablet exactly, but more of a look at its operating system in action, from someone who claims to have access to the device’s developer’s kit. It’s short but sweet. Take a look:
What do you think? The smoothness of that transition looks slick enough to have originated from Apple. But who knows, it’s probably just somebody with too much time on their hands.
