So let’s try and comprehend. Dude is writing an ebook on dating yet he has no clue how to express himself? Shouldn’t one who is successful at meeting women, oh I don’t know, be able to articulate his thoughts and ideas? Shouldn’t someone who is writing books be able to …oh I don’t know…EXPRESS HIMSELF?

And why a college age female? Why not a college age male? Why not a 40 year old male? Is someone looking to hookup? How’s that going to happen if he can’t express himself?

Smells ass no matter which way the wind is blowing.

The Craigslist Curmudgeon is a gentle soul who strives to right wrongs and look out for the best interests of freelancers. I’m a nice person, really, I am. Nothing gets my britches in an uproar more than someone who steals another writer’s work.

It’s one thing to blatantly steal another writers content and replace it as your own. To hire a writer to do a little fine tuning and tweaking to ensure a Copyscape safe environment doesn’t just show thievery on the part of the person placing the ad, it also means a somewhat less than ethical writer is being paid to help steal from his brother and sister writers.

It’s wrong. It’s stealing. It’s ass. Shame on all involved.

I would think there would be no cost. No cost to the writer and no cost to the publisher apparently. Since when does passion equal no pay anyway? I guess the fact that we’re passionate and our New Writing (written in uppercase cause it’s so special) will be published immediately is compensation enough. Extra added perk is asking for help and getting help from others. All at no cost. I ask you, does life get better than this?

One of the biggest issues I have with the non payers is how many rules and regs are listed in their advertisements. You must do this, you must do that, and you can’t expect any form of compensation in return.

Yes sir, I do have a professional understanding of the entire editorial process and it goes like this: submit work, work is published, work is paid for within the agreed-upon amount of time. It doesn’t sound like the writers are the ones in need of a clue.

This guy really knows how to offer the incentive, doesn’t he? Who wouldn’t be tempted to accept this gig, the perks are amazing. Lots of research no pay, and writing practice. The only thing keeping me from applying to this gig is the competition. Bet there’s lots.
