Aussie Golf Course May Be World’s Longest

If you’re a golfer like me, then you have enough trouble breaking 100 on your local rinky-dink par-3 course. Even if you’re a scratch golfer, I don’t recommend tackling the soon-to-be opening Nullarbor Links in Australia. Although it’s a par 71, the course plays long…very long. Like 842 miles long, through the Outback of Australia’s Nullarbor Plains. To get an idea of the course layout, the second hole is 42 miles from the opening hole. I recommend renting a cart. Or helicopter.
Obviously the course is designed as a novelty/tourist attraction, and will include man-made holes and holes from existing courses. …read more
