LA Auto Show – Silverado, Aspen, Durango, S400, and Cayenne hybrids
It runs ’til November 25th, but the new models seen there will be running the roads for a few years to come. Sure, they aren’t all green options but hybrids seem to be the new trend. Check out photos, info and video on the following:

Drive Longer or Buy Greener?
You might have looked at my auto autobiography and thought, “What gives? This chic is writing about alternative cars, and she doesn’t even own one?” Au contrair. Do you really need the auto you drive?
First things first, I’ll admit. We could do without three cars. The packrat in me is saying to keep the Buick until our kids can drive (our oldest is NINE) but by then, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be rusted.
Model Legislation
There is a sentiment growing that a special license or permit be established for drivers of these vehicles requiring some proof that a large, gas guzzling, air polluting vehicle is really necessary for you to live your life day-to-day. Similar, I suppose, to a handicap parking permit.
