Well, I made it to what might be called the “semifinals,” but not the finals. And today, a winner has been announced in the B5 Apprentice contest. Congrats to Ali over at Greener Assets! She is a fellow team ACES member, who always made an effort to contribute.
I’m happy with how it all fell out.

Well, our post on buy v. rent over at Accounting Solver managed to win this week. But you should head over to Franchise Pick and read the PROs installment. It’s hilarious!
So the tally is heavily in our favor. In fact, so many of the PROs have been eliminated that the game has been changed. Now it’s every blog for itself, and since I’ve been on the winning team, I’m still in!

B5 Apprentice continues! This week’s challenge has to do with whether to buy or rent. While the challenge has to do with a hypothetical business, the analysis can be applied, in part, to your own questions about buying or renting a home.
And remember: buying a home to live in is completely different from a real estate investment.
