Vista backdoor? Over my dead body!

After the speculation of Vista getting a backdoor, it now seems that a company representative said in a statement sent via e-mail: “Microsoft has not and will not put ‘backdoors’ into Windows“. Next to that Niels Ferguson, a developer and cryptographer at Microsoft, wrote on a corporate blog: “The suggestion is that we are working with governments to create a back door so that they can always access BitLocker-encrypted data… Over my dead body“.
