Caramel is one of my favorite flavors.

Whether it’s a plain caramel cube just taken from the plastic wrapper or a gooey caramel cake, caramel has a rich, slightly salty taste that goes well with just about anything.
And if it’s a tasty treat in everyday life then it’s bound to have an alcoholic counterpart.
This drink combines several different flavors into pure perfection.

And if it’s a tasty treat in everyday life then it’s bound to have an alcoholic counterpart.

This drink combines several different flavors into pure perfection.

Caramel Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream

1 oz Kahlua Coffee Liqueur

1 oz Butterscotch Schnapps

3 – 5 oz ice cold milk

Directions:

Pour the Bailey’s, Kahlua, and butterscotch schnapps into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice and shake everything for about thirty seconds.

Strain the mixture into a highball glass and top it with milk.

There’s no garnish for this drink, though I’m sure you could come up with something if you wanted to get really creative and you just need a garnish.

Make sure that you don’t shake the mixture for too long with the ice or you’ll water everything down and it won’t taste as wonderful as it would have if it wasn’t watered down.

What about this makes it a Superman shot? To me, a Superman shot would be several hard liquors mixed into one shot glass but this concoction seems tame.
Also, this is the same tattooed guy who tried the Mai Tai in the other video that I posted. What’s up with that? Did they film all of the videos in one night? If that’s the case then can you imagine how screwed up tattooed guy must have been by the end of the night?!

Bailey’s Irish Cream is one of those drinks/mixers that’s sweet, rich and very distinctive.
It’s also very expensive.
When you consider the small amount that you get for a rather high price, those cocktails containing Baileys had better be really strong to help you forget just how light your wallet is feeling.
So, I bring you a homemade version of Baileys that’s pretty freakin’ awesome. There isn’t any real cooking so don’t get scared off.
