Lance Berkman has no solidified himself as one of the best first baseman in all of baseball. Although he also has experience as an outfielder, Berkman is expected to spend the majority of the 2008 season at first base.

A lifetime .300 hitter, Berkman is also blessed with great power, averaging 32 homeruns and 105 RBIs over the last eight seasons. Berkman also has a good eye at the plate, as he consistently ranks in the lead leagues in walks.

Expect Berkman, who is a native Texan, to have yet another big season in 2008!
