5. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Last year in the playoffs, Philip Rivers played even though he had a torn ACL. That move symbolized Rivers taking the next step. He’s now a rugged leader and with LaDainian Tomlinson slowing down, he could become the best player on the team sooner than later.
4. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
I guess the Packers were right. The management were all but pushing Brett Favre out the door — and now we see why. Aaron Rodgers can really play and he should continue to get better and better.
