Did you happen to catch Alex Rodriguez at the American Music Awards on Sunday night? He was there trying to look cool (and not doing a very good job of it), but interestingly enough so was his girlfriend Kate Hudson. I couldn’t help wondering if perhaps Kate got him the gig? (Or maybe it was the other way around.)
Maybe A-Rod is going all Hollywood on us now that the Yankees have won the World Series again. After all, he was seen hanging with Fergie (pictured) from the Black Eyed Peas at the Lakers game Sunday before …read more

Lovely and talented Black Eyed Peas leading lady Fergie will add her voice to the National Football League’s “Crucial Catch” breast cancer awareness game with an in-stadium public service announcement. The PSA reminds fans of the importance of breast cancer screenings and will air during October in NFL stadiums.
The NFL and its players will support October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its largest on-field presence and a national screening-reminder campaign. In collaboration with the American Cancer Society, the initiative, called “A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives,” encourages annual mammograms for women over 40.
Wearing a pink NFL jersey, Fergie …read more
Black Eyed Peas Singer Wants to be Dolphin

You can’t blame Black Eyed Peas singer will.iam for trying. Wouldn’t we all secretly love to be on our favorite NFL team? If just to hang with the guys in the huddle? But we’re not all pleading to our teams to let us try out, either.
will.iam, on the other hand, is doing just that. Page 2 Live says he posted a video on his blog begging the owner of the Miami Dolphins for a try out. What’s worse, he claims he wants to be a punt returner. (Of all the positions an average person …read more

The new Black Eyed Peas album, The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) becomes available today and I feel like it’s taken forever for it to come out.
If you listen to the radio even a little bit you’ve undoubtedly heard their first single “Boom Boom Pow” and they’ve already released the second one “I Gotta Feeling” (don’t worry, if you haven’t heard it you will since it’s been chosen as the promotional song for CBS’ fall lineup).
I’ve heard most of the album and I’ve got to say that it’s very different from their older music and I don’t really even know how …read more

CBS will be launching their summer marketing campaign and what better way to do it than to use one of today’s hottest groups to attract viewers? The network will be using the Peas’ upcoming single “I Gotta Feeling” to promote their fall lineup.
You can expect to hear the song starting this Sunday during the telecast of the 63rd annual Tony Awards.
“We were looking for a positive message to lead our summerlong promotional campaign,” said CBS exec, Ron Scalera. “The Black Eyed Peas know how to make hits, and we know their music can help us make some hits of our …read more
Black Eyed Peas “Boom Boom Pow”

“Boom Boom Pow” is the newest single by the Black Eyed Peas and I think it’s really good to see the BEP working together again. I know Fergie has done reasonably well on her own but I’m not as big a fan of her as a solo artist. Bring on the Peas!
The song is the group’s first release from their fifth studio album, The E.N.D. (”The Energy Never Dies”) which currently has a release date of June 9, 2009. will.i.am explained the following to Billboard magazine: “I’m trying to break away from the concept of an album. What is an …read more
