Bakon Vodka Bloody Mary

I love bacon.
I love booze.
I love Bloody Marys.
So, imagine my utter joy at finding Bakon Vodka and their Bloody Mary recipe because, really? How can you beat a bacon Bloody Mary?
Bacon Mary
Ingredients:
1 oz. to 1½ oz. Bakon Vodka
tomato juice
dash celery salt
dash fresh ground black pepper
dash of Tabasco
2-4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. horseradish
juice from 1/2 a lemon
ice
Directions:
Add everything except for the tomato juice to a cocktail shaker that’s half filled with ice. Shake ingredients until well chilled.
Strain into a Highball glass and top with tomato juice.
Garnish with your favorite garnish, though a celery stick is the most common garnish.

Three Olives Tomato Vodka and a Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary concoctions are like opinions-everyone has one.
Some are content to use a mixer from the grocery store and others concoct elaborate potions complete with incantations and incense. [I kid...I hope.]
Personally, I like my Bloody Mary salty, smokey from the Worcestershire sauce and just hot enough that I need to take a couple of sips of the water that’s offered me. I also NEVER use a mixer. Most are too sweet for me and they lack the depth that I’m looking for.

I Got Great Stuff Yesterday!

Yesterday looked like it was going to tough day. The kids were driving me crazy and my cat tried to die. But, all of that was wiped away when I got these tasty treats in the mail.
I must admit that I’m a bit afraid of the Lucid absinthe. I’m going to try it and try it right with the sugar cube and if I can find an absinthe spoon then I’ll use that too.
