Tiger Woods Wins BMW Championship

After Tiger Woods finished with a course-record 62 on Saturday, the BMW Championship was all but over. Entering Sunday with a seven-shot lead, Woods just had to avoid a collapse to take home the victory. As it turned out, his 68 on Sunday was easily enough.
Woods was -19 at the BMW Championship and won it by eight shots over Marc Leishman of Australia and Jim Furyk of the United States. Sean O’Hair, also of the United States, at -10 was the only other golfer to finish within ten shots of Woods.

Tiger Woods Tied for the Lead at Cog Hill

At Cog Hill, Tiger Woods is tied for the lead in the BMW Championship. Tied with Woods atop the leaderboard is Mark Wilson. Woods and Wilson are seven-under par — with Woods tallying a 67 on Friday, while Wilson finished at 66.
Third place is a three-way tie between American Bo Van Pelt, Australian Marc Leishman, South African Rory Sabbatini and Padraig Harrington of Ireland. Each player is six-under.
This is the first time Woods has been atop a leaderboard since the PGA Championship. Considering that he’s won four tournaments at Cog Hill, it’s not too surprising to see him doing well …read more
