Bobby Knight, the hot-tempered, red-sweater wearing, foul-mouthed, former Indiana basketball coach is going to be reunited with his old team. Of course, not on the basketball court. This reunion will take place in the Indiana University Hall of Fame.
According to ESPN.com, Indiana made the announcement on Saturday.
“I am honored to have been a part of selecting this outstanding class of tremendous coaches and student-athletes,” new athletic director Fred Glass said in a statement. “For my first Hall of Fame class to include heroes from my childhood as well as my student days is a dream come true.”

Ok, I know that Bobby Knight is an NCAA basketball coach and this is a football blog…but I can’t help but feel a bit sad at him leaving the world of coaching in general.
