There are so many games nowadays and parents are usually hesitant of their child spending time on video games as it is a distraction to their studies and it doesn’t provide any benefit to brain development of people.
Georgia Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University have teamed up via a $1.2 million grant to research the benefits of video game playing. Boom Blox is a fun little game that, at first glance, might be underestimated by some gamers because of it’s bright, colorful characters and landscapes but, in reality, this game may leave you tearing your hair out.
I was originally interested in it because it won for “Best Wii Game” (although, it is also available on Mobile and N-Gage 2.0) at the 2008 Spike Video Game Awards which basically proves that Steven Spielberg is not only great at making movies, he’s also skilled at making video games.
