Celtics Dominate Late to Stay Undefeated

Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets were pushing the Celtics in Boston. However, following a dominant fourth quarter, the Celtics beat the Hornets 97-87 to improve to 4-0 on the season. The loss dropped the Hornets to 1-2.
The Celtics were led by Paul Pierce’s 27 points. Pierce also had four rebounds, two assists and two steals while shooting 10-for-14 from the field and 3-for-5 from downtown. Ray Allen had 17 points and Kevin Garnett had 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
