It’s been 10 years in the making but, finally, Quentin Tarantino’s newest film, Inglourious Basterds, is hitting theaters today. If you’ve seen any of the promo spots on TV, you’re probably aware of how impressed most critics have been with the movie (Roger Ebert even gave it four stars and so far Rotten Tomatoes is listing it as 89% fresh!).

The movie Seven (1995) will be released on Blu-ray tomorrow and I’m sure many people will want to pick up a copy. I can remember almost everything about the first time I saw this movie about a pair of detectives who are hunting down a ritualistic serial killer whose crimes are based on the seven deadly sins.

“Benjamin Button” Now on DVD

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will be released on DVD today and, if you haven’t seen it already, I encourage you to pick up a copy. The film stars Brad Pitt in the title role as a man who was born with all the physical characteristics of an elderly person and then goes through his lifetime aging backwards.

When American Deontay Wilder saw the heavyweight Olympic draw he must have smiled. Wilder need only beat lightly regarded Algerian Abdelaziz Toulbini and the winner between Australia’s Brad Pitt and Morocco’s Mohamed Arjaoui to be assured of an Olympic medal. None of these three fighters won a bout at the 2007 World Championships.
