Raikkonen Wins the Belgian Grand Prix

Ferrari finally got the break they needed as the track just seemed to part for Kimi Raikkonen at the end and he was able to take the victory in Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix. This win was the first for Ferrari and Raikkonen in the 2009 Formula One season and the sixth different winner in the last six races.

Reubens Barrichello Wins in Valencia

Reubens Barrichello stated at the start of the 2009 Formula One season that he would win a race for Brawn GP during the 2009 Formula One season. Sunday on the pavement of Valencia he fulfilled his promise to his team by making it across the finish line just two seconds ahead of Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton.

Brawn GP’s 2009 Formula One Dominance

The 2009 Formula One season has been a story worthy of a Hollywood movie, as despite beginning the year wondering if they would make the season opening Australian Grand Prix, Brawn GP have proven so far to be the strongest team. Race after race they have beaten 2008’s big three, Ferrari, BMW Sauber, and McLaren to the line, and on a variety of tracks.

Button Wins Malaysian Grand Prix

The Malaysian Grand Prix turned into an entertaining, engaging, and adrenalin-filled affair during Sunday’s rain filled Formula One race that saw the precipitation take the main stage in determining the eventual winner. The importance of timing and correct decisions with pit stops was key in the changing conditions that saw Brawn GP’s Jenson Button take the checkered flag in a confusing race that turned when the red flag came up after 32 laps of the race.

The 2009 Formula One season was looking like it might be a tough year for teams hoping to implement the new rules and regulations in an effective battle against Brawn GP after the Australian Grand Prix.
