Apparently Danica Patrick thought she could practice car racing in a 35 mile per hour zone. She was pulled over for speeding (going 54 in a 35) and given a $196 ticket.
Well… you know how it is. You get a Mercedes (which just happens to be the kind of car she drives by the way) and you’ve got to see what it can do.
Or maybe she was just late for Christmas shopping? Either way, she was supposed to be in court on Monday but then decided to just pay the darn [...]
Post from: EveryJoe

This isn’t the first time she’s been caught for speeding, however. She was ticketed a year ago (for going 57 in a 40) and has received “several” tickets in the “past three years.”

At least she’s keeping up with publicity in between races….

If you’re one of those people who gets into trouble a lot…. let’s say you have a few scrapes with the law (about 13), and a few arrests (6), and you generally show ZERO remorse when you act up…. then where oh where can you go to find a decent job?
After all, employers today won’t really hire people who are massive troublemakers.
But then there’s the good ole NFL, who WILL hire you. More specifically, the Dallas Cowboys.
Yes, folks, PacMan Jones is coming back. He’ll return in a December 7th game.

I can’t help wondering what our Gossip on Sports fans think about PacMan coming back? Good idea? Hair-brained?

If you are a player in the NFL right now and you happen to get the feeling you are being watched…. it’s because you really are.
The NFL is hiring former police officers and FBI agents to essentially spy on its players.
Hey, we know some of the those guys are up to no good, but honestly…. spying on them? Isn’t that a bit much.
According to one source:

According to one source:

“During a recent road trip, the San Diego Chargers not only conducted bed checks, but placed guards in the hotel hallways to make sure players didn’t sneak out. The Seattle Seahawks have declared an entire downtown entertainment district off-limits, and the Denver Broncos have begun sending a former cop to local nightclubs on weekends to make sure the players behave.”

Crack down!!! Take that you NFL bad boys!

All this scuttlebutt has at least one player feeling like he constantly must look over his shoulder. Broncos defensive tackle Marcus Thomas called his agent last year in a panic, saying he “was convinced he was being followed by a white man in sunglasses who had been sent by the NFL.”

Remember Marcus, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re NOT out to get you.
