NASCAR Inspector Dies in Auto Accident

 It was with great sadness that nascar.com reported today the death of 28-year-old Brienne Davis, a full-time NASCAR carburetor and manifold inspector. She was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday night near Charlotte. Brienne joined NASCAR’s inspection team in 2004 after a 2-year stint with Dale Earnhardt Inc, during which time she served as one of the team’s engine builders.NASCAR officials issued the following statement, “We are deeply saddened at the loss of NASCAR Cup Official Brienne Davis.
