I got my hands on a box of the new Wheaties Fuel cereal (courtesy of my friends at General Mills). It’s not due in stores until January, but you can get the Collector’s Edition box online now for $10. I joked on the Wheaties_Fuel Twitter that I really needed to find out what a $10 box of cereal tasted like (like John Travolta needed to find out what a $5 milk shake tasted like in “Pulp Fiction”). Nike Debuts Trainer 1 Shoe

Nike — along with Beijing Olympic Decathalon Gold Medalist Bryan Clay; and NFL players Adrian Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu; and NBA All-Stars Brandon Roy and Amar’e Stoudemire — introduced the Nike Trainer 1 today. The shoe is actually a blast from the past. It’s inspired by the popular Nike Air Trainer worn by Bo Jackson and John McEnroe 20 years ago.

Bryan Clay Wins Gold in the Decathlon

Bryan Clay of the United States won the Olympic decathlon on Friday and earning him the title of the “World’s Greatest Athlete.” Clay is the first American to win the event since Dan O’Brien won the Gold in 1996.
Clay, the 2004 Silver Medalist, led the event from “wire to wire,” earning so many points that he only had to jog around the track for the 1500m, the last event.
