Halo Wars is now here. Have you played it yet? I downloaded some of the demo that was available but never got to play it yet. DARN RESPONSIBILITIES!!! I’m curious what you think though, is it a worth game to include in the Halo family? Or, is it just a game that they’re trying to gain popularity off of just by using the Halo name, characters, equipment and plot?

Halo Wars Are Here – Are You Online?

I’ve downloaded the demo trial of Halo Wars from Xbox LIVE. I haven’t had a chance to even play it yet, darn job!

Wondering what everyone else has thought about it if you’ve already downloaded it and played it a bit.

HALO has been one of the top games I’ve played the most since having my first XBOX and now XBOX 360. I’d say HALO along with Tiger Woods golf ever since version 2003.

What’s everyone else’s opinion been of the game thus far? Is it going to be another blockbuster for the franchise or will it be just a blip for the hardcore HALO fans?

If the strategy portion is anywhere near as much fun and detailed as what I’ve grown to love in Sid Meier’s epic Civilization series, it’s going to be fantastic for me. My only concern though is that I think I prefer playing more intellectual and strategy games on PC instead of game console.

Halo Wars Demo Download Available on Xbox 360 LIVE

I was reminded and shocked by a variety of things:

• there has been a real improvement on graphics since the first game
• I don’t think you could jump as high in the original version
• you couldn’t dual-wield weapons in the first one

Even with those differences though, playing the game was still a good time. There’s always the new version though that really calls my name with the new features and functionality and abilities.

Good timing today because I received an email letting me know the Halo 3 Cold Storage Map Pack for free. The Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack is now only 600 Xbox points as well.

A Bit of a Halo Flashback

You can see more photos at the Bungie Studios website and theirs are absolutely full-size and flawless in their detail and vivid imagery. I can’t wait to put my 360 through the paces with this new game. 09/25/07 can’t get here fast enough.

Do you know what September 25th is? You don’t? Then you’re probably not a huge Halo fan.

September 25th is the date that the next game in the Halo series, Halo 3, will be released to the public. Expectations are that records for entertainment sales will be shattered.

In a year when Hollywood is launching its biggest blockbusters ever, a video game is set to conquer them all. “Halo^® 3,” the final chapter in the groundbreaking “Halo” trilogy, is set to shatter day-one entertainment sales records when it is released worldwide beginning Tuesday, Sept. 25. Created by legendary developer Bungie Studios and exclusive to the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system, “Halo 3” will set a new standard for interactive storytelling and social gaming by engaging consumers worldwide in Master Chief’s epic battle to save humankind. “Halo 3” will be available to audiences around the world starting Sept. 25 and will release in Europe on Sept. 26.

Halo 3 Release Expected to Set Records

Tune into ESPN® Monday Night Football December 4th and catch the worldwide debut of a new Halo 3 teaser with never-before-revealed information! Make sure you set your recording device of preference in case of any unexpected bathroom breaks.

My question though, will Halo 3 only be available on Xbox 360? I think I’ve heard that answer before but I can’t remember for sure.

Halo3 to Debut on Monday Night Football

Bungie announces Halo 3, the third and final game in the Halo Trilogy. Halo 3 will be released for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in 2007.

The “final game”? Why? This is a great series. The only thing that will make this better is if they come up with a whole new series to become engrossed in. But all this does is remind me that I really need to upgrade my Wi-Fi access point for my Xbox so I can get back to playing Halo 2 online, I’ve been offline for a couple of months now. Of course, I’m still hoping a 360 will be mine for my birthday.

I’m currently downloading the 98MB announcement video file. I’ll let you know how that goes and if it’s interesting. I’m sure it will be.
