It’s a good day in Red Sox Nation (did ya hear that, Hank ”That’s a Creation of the Red Sox and ESPN” Steinbrenner?) .
As if Jon Lester’s no-hitter weren’t enough to make us do cartwheels in between the cubicles at work, today we came across a rumor concerning more Sox-inspired curse potential at the new Yankee Stadium.

4 Reasons the Yanks Should Have Kept the Buried Shirt

Sigh. The New York Yankees took the fun out of the would-be curse by retrieving the t-shirt buried (by a Boston Red Sox fan) in the concrete of the new stadium—although they get a gold-star for donating the proceeds to a Boston-area charity. Still, here are four reasons they should have let sleeping clothes lie.
1. It would give Yanks fans a scapegoat if the team falters.
2. It would give Yanks fans something to brag about (as if they need help with that) should the team do well “despite the curse.”
