James Davis Injury Update – Browns RB

During preseason action, James Davis was nearly flawless. The rookie running back out of Clemson averaged 7.8 yards per rush for the Cleveland Browns. But on the day before his first NFL game, Davis got injured.
Davis was injured in a one-car accident at approximately 8:00 AM ET as the RB was headed to the Browns practice facility. He’s now listed as questionable to play in Week 1 of the 2009 NFL season with an undisclosed head injury.
The car accident leaves the Browns short at running back. Starter Jamal Lewis is healthy but backup running back Jerome Harrison is also questionable. …read more
