A-Rod, the Buddhist?

When you fall in love with someone, you naturally want to please them. Sometimes that means learning about their religion and even changing to it if the relationship gets serious. Such is the case for Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson. Hudson is a Buddhist, and the New York Daily News says A-Rod has been “flirting with Buddhism” to please his main squeeze and her mom, Goldie Hawn. Hawn’s been a Buddhist for years and has even met the Dalai Lama.

Incidentally, Hawn apparently “more than approves of Alex” according to the NY Daily News so if he makes the leap into Buddhism, well…. could it be wedding bells?

Is it a relationship if two people flirt online and yet haven’t met? If it is, then hard living singer Amy Winehouse is “involved with” George Foreman’s kid, George III. Foreman has five sons he has named George, and it is the middle one (George III) that Amy has begun a flirtation with on the social networking site Facebook.

Amy is currently recuperating from a boob job, and one of the patients who has seen this new obsession of hers has said that “Amy loves that he’s toned and very fit.”

If George shares her interest, it should be a very interesting relationship. Like his dad, George Foreman III is a boxer who believes in a clean, healthy lifestyle. Could this be the beginning of a new life for Amy Winehouse?

Khloe Kardashian Pregnant?

Those Kardashians not only keep us guessing when it comes to the celebrity world, but the sports gossip world as well. Kim Kardashian has reunited with Reggie Bush and was recently caught spending the bye week with the Saints running back. While sister Khloe has been stirring up all kinds of rumors with her quickie marriage to the Laker’s Lamar Odom.

First the “buzz” (if you can call it that) about Khloe taking Odom’s last name. She will, but she’ll also be sticking with Kardashian, too. (And really, wouldn’t you?) The Kardashian name is much stronger than Odom’s in terms of celebrity clout (or buzz – sometimes the two are interchangeable.)

Since Khloe got married about 45 seconds after meeting Odom, the natural gossip is that she must be pregnant. One site even has “bump” photos of Khloe (which don’t look at all like a bump if you ask me.) I’m going to err on the side of “not pregnant” because they got married a month after meeting each other, people! That’s even too quick to get pregnant (or at least, to know for certain that you are with child.)

I say that these two impulsive kids just felt the heat and went with it. Odom’s been rumored to be an attention seeker, which is one reason he “agreed” to the marriage. I say: attention, schmention. Can’t two people get married after a month and not stir up trouble? (Oh wait….)

Tony Romo Sad About Jessica Simpson’s Dog

Tony Romo dated Jessica Simpson for almost two years. So it’s understandable that he would become attached to her dog, Daisy. It’s been no secret that it’s been a tough year for Simpson. There was the talk about her weight, her forgetting lyrics in her concerts, and her and Tony breaking up…. through it all, she turned to Daisy for some comfort. (Can’t say as I blame her there – I mean, what are pets for?)

I had wondered if Tony Romo would come forward with a shoulder to cry on for Jessica, and according to The Enquirer he has. They even go as far as to say that he “almost cried with her.” Then he supposedly told her she could dial him up anything “no matter what” she may need.

Are we sure he really wanted to dump her? It sounds very much like he might regret that decision.

The next natural question now, of course, is if they’ll get back together. Jessica’s camp says no. What do you think?

Khloe Kardashian Is In Love

I feel for Khloe Kardashian sometimes. She’s been very unlucky in love. Will her new romance with Lakers star Lamar Odom be different? So far, so good. The two were spotted last week at the movie premiere of Whiteout. They were smiling and looked blissfully in love (or lust, or whatever it is that happens when you first date someone.)

Lamar said the perfect thing when interviewed: he met the mom and liked her. He said, “Now I know where Khloe gets her beauty from…her intellect from.” Gushing up to the mom is always a smart move.

Plus he complimented her family, and let’s face it, if you’re going to date a Kardashian, you’d better get along with the family.

When asked what they like to do together, Khloe said lay in bed, and Lamar toned it down by adding, “… and watch movies.” That Khloe is always starting trouble isn’t she?

Kate Hudson to A-Rod: I Want Your Baby

Here’s a question for the guys out there: how spooky is it when your new girlfriend starts talking about what cute kids you’d have together? On a scale of one to ten? Eight? Nine?

I’m not a guy, of course, but hearing that Kate Hudson has been making baby talk with Alex Rodriguez was frightening even to me. Kate already has a five-year old soon, but one source says now that Kate is turning 30 she wants another child. She’s even brought it up to Alex, who naturally wasn’t as keen on the idea. (A dad paying child support will be like that.) Kate assured A-Rod that she will pay for the kid, however.

Sidenote: What exactly happens to women when they turn 30?

Anyone have predictions on what will happen next? My guess is either a breakup or a baby. We’ll see….

Watch out wresting fans! Sherri Shepherd of The View is coming your way! Apparently, she’s become a fan of the sport. Or, to put it another way, she’s a fan of a certain wrestler named MVP. She’s says MVP is “goooorgeous.”

She said she is going to chase this man down and find out if he’s married or single. She also made it clear she wouldn’t mind taking his hand in marriage! (Are you groaning yet? Wait, it gets worse.)

So then MVP apparently is also interested in her (or he’s trying to get ratings) and he invited her to a match on May 1st. She’s going to “get in his corner” (if ya know what I mean – wink wink!).

Roger Federer Marries

I’ve got some bad news for you, ladies. Roger Federer is officially a married man.

Sigh….

He married Mirka Vavrinec on Saturday in Switzerland. He said on his website, “… Mirka and I got married. It was a beautiful spring day and an incredibly joyous occasion.” He also wished everyone a happy Easter weekend.

Aw….

Seems like the happy couple already has a bun in the oven. They are expecting their first child this summer.
