The wide receiver formerly named Chad Johnson continues to see his name in lights. However, what exact name is being used continues to change.
Last year, he changed his name from Chad Johnson to Chad Ocho Cinco to presumably give his “Ocho Cinco” nickname a better stage. He wanted his jersey last year to say “Ocho Cinco” on the back but the NFL said that they were notified too late to make the change.
This year, there still won’t be an “Ocho Cinco” number 85 available in Cincinnati Bengals colors. Instead, the jersey will say “Ochocinco” on the back. Apparently, when Chad …read more

Carson Palmer, the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, says that his troublesome elbow is 100% healed. Last season, Palmer sat out 12 games due to pain in his elbow. Instead of surgery, the Bengals had Palmer rest for most of the offseason. Apparently, the strategy has paid off.
Prior to last year, Palmer had been very successful in his NFL career. In 2005, the quarterback out of USC had 32 touchdowns and 3,836 passing yards. 4) Joey Porter, Miami Dolphins
Does this guy ever not have something to say? Whenever there’s an issue, Porter is first to give his opinion. His latest soundbite has him defending guns and Plaxico Burress. The odd aspect of his talkative ways is that he’s not that good on football. Plus he plays defense and …read more
It’s Official, Chad Johnson Is Now Chad 8-5

This seems fitting. Especially for a Cincinnati Bengal. Chad Johnson is definitely his own man. He loved the name Ocho Cinco so much that he decided to change his name to just that. To celebrate his jersey number. But Ocho Cinco stands for 8-5, not 85. 85 would be ochenta y cinco. Now ochenta y cinco must not roll of the tongue for Chad like ocho cinco does. We are sure he knew that there was a difference. But then again, he is a Bengal.
