If Adrian Peterson is wearing street clothes, can Chester Taylor be the man?
No, Adrian Peterson? Adrian has a bad hammy and will be a game time call.
Unfortunately, Peterson is on my Fantasy Football team and has to be put on the bench for LenDale White. Ouch.
The Vikings are hurting with a 0 – 2 start. They have benched young Tarvaris Jackson and are going with Gus Frerotte. If they lose for the third time in a row, the team may begin to unravel.

The return of the Squibster. Now the good and the bad. The good is that my most excellent boss and coworkers filled in quite nicely and that is most appreciated.
The bad is the Squibster is diagnosed with Cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. This will go on for 6 months and may limit my blogging at time to time. Fear not, they say the cancer is one that is curable, so let us move forward with our dreams of football!

The only damage was a torn lateral collateral ligament, an injury that will sideline him for this Sunday’s game against Oakland but not much longer.

Adrian is hot.
He is the favorite for rookie of the year right now.
You wonder, if the Vikes were any good, would he be up for MVP?
Oh, yes, that one game of 296 yards made an incredible impression on everyone.
Now let’s not get carried away. It is what it is, but consider the fact that Edgerrin James was 19th on the all time rushing list coming into this year with 10,385 yards and he is still playing.
Edge has 618 more this year.
Adrian leads the league with 1,036.

Money down the manhole
I leave the house for an hour and what do I find when I come back?
this (thanks, Aaron)
The news that the Ravens kept Lewis came only a few hours after Aaron sent me the article about the Ravens signing Mike Anderson.
Oh, and if you’re wondering about Chester Taylor, he was set free and signed by the Vikings.
Personally, I think this is probably the worst set of moves any teams has done in a long time. I put it up there with the Browns drafting Couch and Brown.
I mean really, Mike Anderson had a nice year, …read more
