SmackDown Recap
Last nights SmackDown was the first since the Royal Rumble last Sunday meaning that there was lots of unresolved business including what matches would be set up for No Way Out. Well SmackDown answered some questions and set up matches that will probably answer others.
This weeks SmackDown was live as opposed to the typical Tuesday tapings. This meant no leaks of twists or anything of that nature. Mr. Kennedy Gets Title Shot
Mr. Kennedy was assured of a title shot against Batista at Royal Rumble after no other SmackDown wrestler was able to beat his time. So far Mr. Kennedy has beat 6 former champions during his wrestling career.
In the last Beat the Clock Sprint match of the night and of the challenge Undertaker took on the Miz. Undertaker was dominating the wrestling rookie and looked like he was going to beat Mr Kennedy’s time. Beat the Clock Sprint – Week 2
Well here is your preview of tonight’s SmackDown matches. As you know if you read last weeks recap post, Theodore Long extended the Beat the Clock Sprint to a second week to allow more competitors to vie for a chance at the Championship.

Theodore Long, the GM of SmackDown, took to the microphone to start the show to go over the format of the matches in the beat the clock sprint and to announce that the winner would take on Batista at Royal Rumble.
First match of the night was Chavo Guerrero against Kane. Being the first match of the night both competitors had the opportunity to set the mark that everyone else had to beat. Kane seized the opportunity beating Chavo in 7 minutes 52 seconds.

Limited SmackDown Preview
Well WWE.com isn’t providing too much today in the way of a preview for tonight episode and I could really give you all the results for tonight’s match since it’s pretaped but here is what WWE has to say.
The biggest thing going down on tonight’s episode is the SmackDown sprint which was announced on last week’s episode. So what happened at this weeks SmackDown which just might have had the most vague preview in recent WWE history. Well, not a lot. No there were matches but very little in the way storyline development.
Looking to avenge their loss to Cena and Batista at Armageddon, Finlay and Booker demanded a rematch from Theodore Long. Instead of rematch they got more than they bargained for, a tag match against Kane and Undertaker.
