According to the Hollywood Reporter, Christian Slater could be returning to television.  He most recently appeared in the NBC spy drama My Own Worst Enemy (I never got to see it).  Despite good reviews, the show was canceled. 
Now he’s in negotiations to star in The Forgotten, a new series which will air on ABC and will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.  The plot revolves “around a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Slater) whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped three years before.”

The complete first (and only) season of the canceled series of My Own Worst Enemy is now available on DVD.  I think the plot of the show was good and I love Christian Slater as an actor but, for whatever reason, it just didn’t work out.
