Your intrepid author is a huge NBA basketball fan and hailing from Michigan finds me rooting for the Detroit Pistons, win or lose.
This year was bittersweet as the Pistone-ians went down to the Cleveland LeBrons. This left the LeBrons to play San Antone with the Big Fundamental. You just knew the LeBrons would lose, because San Antone always wins. They always win.

Mike Shanahan has averaged 11 wins in the regular season as coach of the Broncos. That included two 13 victory seasons and one 14 victory season.
As a Lions fan, your intrepid author can only feel the impossible has been accomplished.
